The Evidence Technician's responsibilities include the complete and thorough investigation of crime scenes. It also includes discovering, as well as collecting, processing, preserving and presentation of the collected evidence in court. The Evidence Technician is also charged with maintaining chain of custody of all evidence and found property collected by the department.
