The Finance Administration Department is responsible for maintaining the financial, accounting and budgetary records. Records are maintained in accordance with the State of Mississippi and other regulatory agencies. The Department also assists the Auditors with the annual Municipal Audit.
The department provides the following services: accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable and preparation and monitoring of the budget, planning, organizing, and controlling of the finances. It also supports the long and short range Financial Planning of Capital Improvements and projects to accomplish the goals of the city.
