Moss Point General Election 2025: June 3rd will decide who is elected mayor!

Election Day is June 3

We are asking every registered voter in Moss Point to show up and take part.

We are holding our General Election on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. This is our opportunity to choose the leadership that will represent our people, manage our resources, and carry out the vision for where Moss Point goes next.

Every registered voter in the city will cast their vote at a single location:

Pelican Landing
6217 Highway 613
Moss Point, Mississippi
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

This election will determine the offices of Mayor, Alderman At Large, and Alderman for Ward 1. The official sample ballot includes the following:

We are asking every eligible voter to review the candidates, consider their record, and come ready to vote. These individuals will help make decisions that affect every part of daily life in our city. The roads you drive, the way we invest in growth, how we respond to challenges and opportunities, all of it starts with this vote.

You must present valid photo identification to vote in person. This includes a Mississippi driver’s license, a state-issued voter ID card, a United States passport, or any government-issued photo ID that is either current or expired within the past ten years. If you are unsure about your ID or need help getting one, contact our City Clerk’s Office right away. We will walk you through the steps.

Absentee Voting Still Available This Week

If you cannot vote in person on June 3, you still have time to vote absentee.

You can cast an absentee ballot at City Hall during regular hours. Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The final weekday for absentee voting is Friday, May 30.

We will also open for absentee voting this Saturday, May 31, from 8 AM until 12 noon. This is your last opportunity to vote absentee in person before Election Day.

If you are voting by mail, your ballot must arrive at the City Clerk’s Office by the close of polls on Tuesday, June 3. Do not rely on the postmark. Late-arriving ballots will not be counted. If you are unsure whether your ballot will make it in time, we recommend voting absentee in person before the Saturday deadline.
