Six ways to register to vote.
Register at least 30 days before the election. You will receive a voter registration ID card by mail shortly after. Mississippi does not require you to register by political party.

- 03By mail. Request an application from the Circuit or City Clerk's Office and return it by mail.

- 05Local library. Register at any branch of the Jackson County Library System.
- 06High schools & League of Women Voters. Annual visits by the Circuit Clerk and nonpartisan registration drives.

Mississippi law requires voters to present an acceptable form of photo identification showing current name and address.
Acceptable photo ID
Without ID, you may cast a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots are counted on Election Day; you may return to the polls with ID later that same day to verify identity.

Contact the Circuit or Municipal Clerk at least one month before the election. Absentee ballots can be cast in person at the registrar's office during the 45-day advance voting period.
