Vision
"A Unified Community"

The Moss Point Police Department is committed to being the model for excellence and 21st century innovation in law enforcement in Mississippi and throughout the nation. We strive to provide excellent customer service to our citizens with integrity, professionalism, and strong officer safety principles. It is our goal to have a unified community where peace and harmony abide.
The Moss Point Police Department is committed to providing the citizens of Moss Point with the highest level of public safety with an emphasis on professionalism.

It is our goal to seek partnerships with the community in our efforts to reduce crime. It is through these partnerships that we are confident we can take back the streets from those individuals who are involved in committing crimes. Since taking office in 2011, the police department strives to rebuild the public's trust. We have implemented many new programs, made personnel changes, restructured the department and improved our technology. However, this is only the beginning. Our goal is to provide a safe place to live, work and play. I would like to thank you for visiting our website and if there is anything the police department may do for you or your family, please do not hesitate to contact us at 228-475-1711 or my office at 228-474-3640.
