Pelican Landing is the City of Moss Point's flagship event and conference center, set on the banks of the Escatawpa River and designed to host the moments that matter most.
With sweeping river views, lawn areas for outdoor ceremonies, and a covered veranda that runs the full width of the building, Pelican Landing is a backdrop you will not find anywhere else on the Gulf Coast. The location is convenient too. Just one mile off Interstate 10, it sits about thirty minutes from both Mobile and Biloxi, so guests arrive without fighting traffic to get there.
Inside, the main meeting room offers approximately 6,300 square feet of flexible space that can be configured as one large hall or divided into three independent meeting rooms of about 2,100 square feet each. A 2,000 square foot pre-function area at the entrance is ideal for receptions, registration, and welcoming guests before the main event begins.

Pelican Landing includes a full commercial kitchen on site. Caterers must hold a valid Mississippi Department of Health certificate to operate in the kitchen. You bring the menu, the team, and the licensed certification, and the facility is yours to use.

Looking ahead
The next chapter for Pelican Landing.
As part of Invest In Moss Point, the city has a long-term vision to grow Pelican Landing into the signature riverfront destination on the Gulf Coast. These plans are conceptual and not yet scheduled, but they show where the venue is headed.
A riverfront amphitheater.
An open-air amphitheater envisioned for roughly 800 guests, bringing concerts and festivals to the banks of the Escatawpa.
The Companion Hotel.
A proposed hotel of 80 to 120 rooms on the adjacent lot, with a riverside bar and meeting space, so galas and conferences can keep guests overnight on the water.
