2026-2027 Application. Open to Moss Point students ready to represent their city with integrity and purpose. Every application is reviewed by the Office of the Mayor.

Complete every field below. A student and a parent or legal guardian both sign at the end. When you submit, your application goes straight to the Office of the Mayor and a confirmation is emailed to you.

Consent

I understand that being a member of the Mayor's Youth Leadership Council carries certain responsibilities. I agree to conduct myself properly as a representative of my city and abide by all guidelines of the Council. I agree to attend scheduled meetings, engage in approved related activities, participate in projects approved by a vote of the membership of the Council, engage in leadership training opportunities my membership in the Council will afford me, and take an active leadership role in improving the wellbeing of my community, my school, and my family. I understand that failure to honor the above-mentioned expectations as adjudged by the Mayor and the adult advisors to the Council can result in my loss of membership in the Council.
