ARPA Funded Wastewater Infrastructure Project Now Open for Contractor Bids

The City of Moss Point is now accepting sealed bids for a major wastewater infrastructure improvement project funded through the American Rescue Plan Act. This project reflects the City’s continued commitment to strengthening essential infrastructure and ensuring reliable service for residents and businesses.

Project Overview

The project, titled Lift Station 19 Rehabilitation and Sewer Force Main Replacement, includes comprehensive improvements to critical components of the City’s wastewater system, including:

Installation of a new gravity sewer system along Jackson Avenue
Replacement of an existing sewer force main along Macphelah Road and Meridian Street
Full replacement of Lift Station 19, located on Jefferson Avenue

These upgrades are designed to modernize aging infrastructure, improve operational reliability, and support long term growth within the service area.
